East Anglian Railway Museum Wedding | Essex Wedding Photographer
I loved shooting this wedding at East Anglian Railway Museum Wedding in Essex because the venue was so unique.
James and Alice are a great couple. They are so in love and so welcoming i had the best day with these guys. Alice got ready in their flat in Colchester Essex, the morning was so relaxed and had such a lovely happy atmosphere. Alice was so chilled, she even did the hoovering on the morning of her wedding. Because her bridesmaids last minute hair cut.
They got married in Colchester Town Hall in Essex which is the oldest town in the UK, filled with historic features and it even has its own castle. They said their vows in The Council Chamber and their guests sat on wooden pew-like seating. There was some beautiful stained glass windows illustrating the history of Colchester which surrounded the room letting in stunning light.
After the ceremony we went on to East Anglian Railway Museum Wedding. Their reception was in The Goods Shed a beautiful open light room with amazing high ceilings. You can even personally select a train from their collection to have as your backdrop during your reception dinner. You can also go in this train and your guests can explore.
They had the most amazing details and this Essex wedding Photographer was like a kid in a candy store. Everything was so well thought about they had pictures hung everywhere. They held a bake off for their guests to compete in. This meant a table complete full with amazing cakes which their guests had made. They had recycled bottles and filled them with wild flowers and there were signs everywhere with beautiful quotes.
I took these guys off and had freedom of the East Anglian Railway Museum to take their couples shots. The evening was amazing they had Fish and Chips for their evening guests. A band played well into the evening, guests drank, danced and were very merry.
